Gurjar's 45-year-old grandson Hakam Singh told reporters that his grandfather seldom fell ill had no history of previous ailments and did most of his daily chores by himself till the end came.


Parasram Gurjar, believed to be the oldest man in the country, has passed away at the age of 125 in his native village in Madhya Pradesh, family sources said today.Gurjar, a native of Talkesari village in Hoshangabad district, breathed his last yesterday afternoon, leaving behind his only surviving son, 75-year-old Mohanlal, and a family consisting of 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
