There are many remedies available for diabetics now-a-days but their effectiveness varies from person to person. It depends on your body and genetics. You can start with a raw diet i.e. being on an assortment of fruits vegetables and nuts. Coupled with certain lifestyle changes you can change your condition by some natural herbs and remedies and survive diabetes. Eight remedies treat diabetes naturally and you can stick to one or more for effective treatment.


If the raw diet is a bit too much to follow, you can take to one or more of the natural diabetes remedies given here:1.Black seed – Nigella Sativa, also known as black seed is a latest discovery and doctors are raving about its curative properties for many diseases. You can take 6 teaspoons of the oil for 7 days. Make sure that the oil is taken in different times of the day. Follow this up with a 4 days schedule of taking 2 teaspoons of the oil in the morning and 2 in the evening. To get the best results of this treatment, drink as much water as you can in the morning and rub the oil all over your body over for 10 days of this treatment.
2.Fig leaves – These are known for treating diabetes along with many other uses. It has been found that the requirement for insulin is reduced in people who take the treatment for fig leaves extract. The extract should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach. Another way of treating the condition is to boil the fig leaves in a container and make herbal tea of sorts to be drunk in the morning.


3.Fenugreek – Take between 5-30 grams along with each meal but do not exceed more than 90 grams a day level. Do not take it with other medicines. If you are taking capsules, limit the intake to 300 grams a day. 6.Bitter melon – Make a juice of bitter melon and drink on an empty stomach every morning. It has great properties of lowering your blood sugar.7.Olive oil – Drink one-fourth of a cup of olive oil before sleeping daily. Bear in mind that you do not have to keep the calorie count of olive oil in check too. 8.Vitamin C – Having 100-600 grams of vitamin C can normalise your blood sugar within month.
