Girls outshined boys at St Xavier's College, Ranchi. As many as 26 out of 31 gold medals, awarded to toppers at the college's 6th convocation ceremony held on Monday, were bagged by girls. Undergraduate, postgraduate and vocational students of the 2013 batch were awarded degrees on the occasion. Around 2,614 degrees were conferred on the occasion, of which 272 were masters degrees while the remaining were undergraduate and vocational course degrees. Ranchi University vice-chancellor (VC) Ramesh Kumar Pandey was the chief guest of this convocation.
