विद्या बालन ने आज सुबह 4.45 बजे चेंबुर एक तमिल मंदिर में यूटीवी के सीईओ सिद्धार्थ रॉय कपूर के साथ सात फेरे लिए. शादी में विद्या ने अपनी सासू मां की दी हुई पीले रंग की कांजीवरम की साड़ी पहनी.
सूत्रों ने बताया कि यह साड़ी विद्या के प्रिय डिजाइनर सब्यसाची ने डिजाइन की है. शादी बिल्कुल पंजाबी और साउथ इंडियन रीति-रिवाजों के साथ हुई. शादी के बाद होने वाले रीति-रिवाजों को लेकर विद्या काफी उत्साहित नजर आ रही हैं.
बुधवार रात विद्या के खार स्थित निवास में विद्या की मेहंदी की रस्म बड़े ही धूमधाम से हुई. मेहंदी की रस्म में विद्या के रिश्तेदार बॉलीवुड स्टार्स नजर आए. मेहंदी में विद्या की फेवरेट एक्ट्रेस रेखा भी नजर आई. शादी के दूसरे दिन यानी शनिवार को चेन्नई में एक बाकि फंक्शंस ऑर्गनाइज किए जाऎंगें.
