ग्रुप में ऑर्गेनाइज होगा कॉम्प्टीशन
सिविल इंजीनियरिंग के एनुअल इवेंट 'अवलंबन' के दौरान 15 फरवरी को 'ब्रिज कृति' कॉम्प्टीशन ऑर्गेनाइज किया जाएगा। यह जानकारी फेस्ट कोऑर्डिनेटर शगुन कृष्ण अग्रवाल ने दी। उन्होंने बताया कि ग्रुप में ऑर्गेनाइज होने वाले इस कॉम्प्टीशन में एक टीम में 3 मेंबर्स होंगे। जिन्हें आइसक्रीम स्टिक और ग्लू का यूज कर ब्रिज तैयार करना है। इसमें जिस टीम का ब्रिज जितना बेहतर होगा उसे उसी के अकॉर्डिंग माक्र्स दिए जाएंगे। सबसे बेहतर ब्रिज बनाने वाली टीम को विनर डिक्लेयर किया जाएगा।
लोड सहने की हो ताकत
ब्रिज कृति के दौरान स्टूडेंट्स को सिर्फ ऐसा ब्रिज नहीं तैयार करना है जो देखने में बेहतर लगे, बल्कि उन्हें इस बात का भी ख्याल रखना है कि यह जितना खूबसूरत है, उतना ही मजबूत होना चाहिए। शगुन ने बताया कि ब्रिज बनने के बाद इसकी लोड टेस्टिंग की जाएगी। जो ब्रिज खूबसूरत होने के साथ ज्यादा लोड सह सकेगा, उसे ही फाइनल विनर चुना जाएगा। इसके लिए जजेज का स्पेशल पैनल बनाया गया है, जो ब्रिज की टेस्टिंग करेगा।
Procedure:

ROUND 1:-- The bridge after completion will be tested for dimensional criteria। Those teams which pass the test will move to the next round।
ROUND 2:-- In the next round the weight of bridge will be measured।
ROUND 3:-- The bridge will be loaded with some mechanism to test it’s bearing load।
The efficiency of the bridge will be measured by obtaining the ratio of weight of bridge to the bearing load of bridge।
The team having maximum value of bridge efficiency will be declared winner।
Dimensions:
- Span length = 60-65 cm with 10 cm at both ends
- Width = 12-16 cm
- Height = 11 cm of horizontal span(deck)।
- Stick overlapping should not exceed 3 cm।
- Maximum 6 sticks are allowed at joints।
